Do you have what it takes to join our amazing team in our fast paced commercial laundry? Odd Socks is a well established Laundry and Housekeeping provider, based in Lingdale, and servicing holiday cottages and hotels across the North York Moors. We are looking for 2 new team members to work between 12 - 16 hours on a shift allocation basis. Our working day is 07.30 - 5. We are seeking operators who can work allocated shifts including 0800 - 12md & 1pm - 5pm Shifts. This job will be based within our laundry at Lingdale.
Job description
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating commercial laundry machines
- Adhering to strict commercial laundry processes
- Working closely with team members
- Manual handling
- Adhering to all health and safety policies
- Experience of working in a laundry and use of rotary iron
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Using own initiative
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Understanding of the client's needs and demands due to their client requests and increases
- A self-starter with a positive, resilient and tenacious attitude
- Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 12- 16 per week
Salary: Up to £10.50 per hour
