Student Services Officer (St. Mark’s Catholic School)

Package: 36 Hours per week (Monday - Friday) – 39 weeks per year (Term-time only) plus 5 days in Summer Holidays.

Salary: Scale 6 (Point 16 - 20) = Actual salary range £29,700.00 to £31,731.00 (Pro Rata - £26,547.49 to £28,362.91). The Post will be subject to a probation period of 3 months.

St Mark’s Catholic School is seeking to appoint a Student Services Officer to provide a wide range of support to students including first aid, uniform, lost property, trips, and communication with parents. We have a reputation for outstanding student outcomes, but we are also committed to excellence in all that we do, and that includes all aspects of pastoral care.

It is important to have some experience of working with children/young people but previous experience in a school is not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

· Passion for working with children/young people and ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding.

· Good interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders.

· A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a very busy environment.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· A creative and flexible approach to problem-solving.
