Job Description:
Standard Plus Butchers Ltd is looking for a Cleaner / Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading product from vans and lorries.
- Checking product boxes for damage and verifying accuracy of data
- Verifying accuracy of labels on product in order to meet company standards
- Reading and interpreting documents such as invoices, purchase orders, Delivery Notes etc.
- General housekeeping such as vacuuming offices, emptying Bins, etc.
- Assist with Haccap control and keeping accurate records of Haccap control in the warehouse
- Maintaining clean work areas (e.g., cleaning floors, Walls etc) using Steam Cleaner.
- Assist with Packing during busy periods.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, purchase orders, Delivery Notes, etc.
- General knowledge of housekeeping procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. This includes vacuuming offices, emptying Bins, Use of a steam cleaner etc.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and work well with a team under pressure.
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently and be able to stand for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £7.49-£10.40 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
